From small initiatives such as reusing chemical bottles to more visionary objectives like dramatically reducing our carbon footprint, Advance boasts the UK cleaning industry's most progressive environmental policy.

Most recently, we have adopted a ‘cycle to work’ scheme, giving employees the opportunity to buy a bike at discounted price for use when travelling to and from work.

Our commitment to achieving a twenty percent reduction in our carbon footprint by 2010 is pioneering in our sector and underpins the delivery of all our works.

We make carbon savings wherever they can be made across the three key areas of our operations: materials, machinery and procedures. The ongoing communication of Advance's environmental policy to all stakeholders is pivotal to its successful implementation and essential to ensuring a positive impact on the environment.

In recognition of the hard work we have put towards implementing our green policies, Advance was recently awarded ISO 14001 accreditation. We have also been working with our external environmental advisor, Don Potts, to promote our environmentally friendly policies further both within Advance and amongst our clients.
