New Environmental Advisor

This month Advance appointed Don Potts as the company’s external Environmental Advisor. Don advises some of the world’s biggest brands — including Volvo, Sky and Lloyds TSB — on environmental best practice.

We believe that delivering a first-class cleaning service and a commitment to improving our environment needn’t be mutually exclusive values. Don’s appointment is pivotal to our continued efforts to ensure biodegradable products are used where possible and all machinery is selected on its environmental credentials.

We now measure our carbon footprint and will implement a five year reduction programme to deliver a minimum CO2 reduction of 20% by 2010.
